A 12V trigger is a low-voltage signal used to automate and synchronise AV equipment. When integrated into a home cinema setup, a 12V trigger allows your projector, projector lift, and projector screen to communicate with one another so that everything works in perfect harmony. For example, when you power on your projector, the 12V trigger signal is sent simultaneously to both the projector lift and the projector screen, causing them to lower automatically without any manual intervention.
Equally, when the projector is switched off, the same signal is sent in reverse, retracting both the lift and the screen back into the ceiling. This creates a seamless, fully automated home cinema experience and eliminates the need for multiple remote controls or manual operation of each individual component.
