With our ceiling-recessed screens we offer 4 different screen format options. The most popular option is the 16:9 format. this is best for standard TV viewing. Our anamorphic option 2:35:1 is fantastic for movies and therefore more suited to a dedicated cinema room where you are less likely to watch standard TV shows.

We also offer the traditional 4:3 and commercial 16:10 options, these are however more niche options.

Our rack mount trays incorporate a rubber-edged clamping bar that holds your device in place.

No, we do not supply magnetic face plates. Our rack shelves are built to last and are sturdy and stable, no more faceplates falling or slipping.

If you have a device that doesn’t already have a rack mount shelf, we will custom-make one for you.

Speakers

Most in-ceiling and in-wall speakers will be passive speakers. This means they do not need to be plugged into a power source they do however need to be connected to an AV Receiver or amplifier which will act as both a sound and power source.

Home Cinema Projectors

This is personal preference, if you are undecided on which is the best projector for you why not book a demo? Our specialists will show you the latest projectors side by side so you can see the picture quality for yourself. Book a demo here

4K refers to a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a total of about 8.3 million pixels. A Native, or True, 4K projector will deliver all 8.3 million pixels and each pixel is individually addressable on the screen.

A 4K UHD projector will provide a 4K image at a lower price by using pixel shifting technology. The projector rapidly shifts each pixel on the screen providing a faux 4K resolution. These projectors often provide excellent image at a fraction of the price of a Native 4K projector.

Projector brightness is measured in lumens, in theory the higher the lumens the brighter the projector will be. For home cinema projectors we would suggest opting for a product with at least 2000 lumens.

A projector's throw distance is the distance between the projector and the image on the screen. Projectors are often categorised based on their throw distances i.e Ultra Short Throw, Short Throw and Long Throw projectors.

This is a personal choice. Lamp projectors provide excellent picture quality, the reason that laser projectors are becoming the norm is because the production of mercury bulbs is being phased out and will shortly become a thing of the past.

The important element to look for in a gaming projector is low input lag. This determines how many milliseconds the delay between your controller and screen is. The lower the input, the faster the projector responds to your actions.

The simple answer is yes. With the addition of an AV Receiver you can connect anything that you would normally watch on a TV to your projector. This includes Sky boxes, Fire sticks, Apple TV and gaming consoles. We have a great blog on this here: "Can I watch normal TV on a projector?"

In-Ceiling Speakers

Yes if you're looking for a multi-room speaker system then you will need in-ceiling speakers and an amp per room. We have special packages designed for multi-room audio which you can find here.

Most in-ceiling and in-wall speakers will be passive speakers. This means they do not need to be plugged into a power source they do however need to be connected to an AV Receiver or amplifier which will act as both a sound and power source.

Concealed Home Cinema

A concealed home cinema is a system which hides away when not in use. It includes a ceiling-recessed projector screen and projector lift. This means that at the touch of a button you can hide the projector screen and projector away. They are fantastic alternatives to big TV's which leave you with a 100"+ black box on the wall when not in use. The ceiling recessed projector screen also offers more design freedom as it can be placed in front of windows, doors, fireplaces etc

Our ceiling recessed motorised screens are manufactured from PVC material with a Fibreglass core. They have a matte white front for the display and a black backing. This combination means that the projector screens can be fitted in front of windows and doors and light will not penetrate through the screen.
